Default Whipple Supercharger for 502

Ok...so everyone knows I have a set of EMI Thunder exhaust manifolds up for sale in another thread, some of you have PM'd me about them.

Here is what you need to make those headers work well.

2.3 ltr side mount whipple charger for a 502 BBC Its brand new (of sorts).

Its never been installed in a boat, but rather a mule test motor at AS&M. So nothing but tap water has been ran thru the intercooler. The MAP is setup for a 502 as you can see in the pics of the sticker AS&M installed on the ECU. It's setup with a 7 lb boost blower pulley and on AS&M's dyno, the stock 502 (with aluminum manifolds) made over 550 hp. This is quite a bit for a B3 or Volvo outdrive. However, Im sure Whipple will sell ya a 2-3 lb pulley or you could always stay out of the throttle all the ways too.

I received, printed and bound the complete installation and owners guide provided to me by Whipple.

I was going to install it on my motor build, but have decided to go a different direction and build a bigger NA motor instead.

Here is the dirt.......................A guy bought it from Whipple, had it shipped to Az Speed and Marine to be Dyno tuned. Somewhere during the process, the wife gets wind of the $8,000 purchase and files for divorce.

The guy has to sell the boat (and Harleys) and borrows some money from a friend to pay the attorney bill. He gives the buddy the blower in exchange for the loan (since he cant pay it back after the ex fleeces him). This guy doesnt even own a boat, so I release him from his bad loan decision.

$3,500.00 (obo) plus shipping. During my quest for this purchase, I was "outbid" by others paying as much as $3k for obviously used ones of the same make/model, no turned ECU and no cool fuel. The kit new was/is $6500, plus $1500 for AS&M to tune the ECU and shipping to each shop, then to your house.

Shipping weight is approx 95 lbs. It will be coming from Oregon 97062 if you like to estimate shipping yourself.
