Re: Hatch Motor

I'm still having a great deal of difficulty believing that someone would have knowingly purchased a boat with all of those alleged faults from the factory and then just let the boat sit in the water for 3 yrs. I still suspect that something has happened to that boat somewhere along the way that has required some 'repair' work and whoever did the work just fixed things enough to get rid of the it. I'd still be curious to find out if that boat was originally sold in the Atlanta area and when & by whom it was originally sold. That thought about Georgia not requiring titles for boats, and from that no boat history, leads me to think it was moved there just to be sold.

Will the original build sheet have the dealer/customer details on it?

It just has the dealer name that placed the order. It doesn't get much more personal than that. The rest of the info is just the boat's specs.

It has the dealer info, when it was delivered to the dealer and the details of the boat. I dont believe it has any customer details but Chris could answer that. I'm still waiting to see if the OP submits his hull ID to Chris...

I'm also looking for the 12v power covered receptacle thats in below radio on my 1999 Z212.

Try CP Performance on the Web. They have replacement electric motor hatch rams.

That would give you a heads up as to the state it was sold in and go some way towards the history of the boat...

Unfortunately, Norri's HIN falls in the group of HIN's that I have no information for, the 17000-18000 series. So, I can't help him out. :( (Ironically, my boat falls in this series too)

We're going to have to wait for some pics.

18" STROKE 665 LBS 24 VOLTS DC LINEAR ACTUATOR 5-1785

Found these on eBay. Aren't they the same thing? You would just have to figure out your open and close length?
