That's IF they're adjustable. A little hard to tell from the pics, but they don't look like they are... Usually adjustable ones use u-bolts, which I don't see, or maybe my eyesight is going with my old age. What I can see though is, that trailer was made for an Astro bass boat, and if you've ever seen one, they are very low profile, and have a different hull design, so I'm not sure if it'll work or not. You definitely don't want bunks sitting on your strakes, especially while trailering. If the bunks are adjustable though, it shouldn't be a problem. But the winch post might be a little low, so you may have to consider replacing that? The price is good, I'm just not sure if a bass boat trailer would be right for your boat. It's just my opinion, but maybe you should keep looking?

The general rule I've always seen is 20+ boats use tandems. Looking at the Chariot Trailer brochure from 1997 (Mariah's in-house trailer company), the trailer they recommend for the 202 is a tandem axle. They even used tandems for the 19 footers.

As Chris has pointed out the dead rise on that trailer is way to shallow for a 20' Mariah
I know things are slightly different over here in the UK but even my 180 is on a twin axle trailer.

This thing had a 21 foot on it. Please tell me if you think this will work, if you tow a 20 ft 2500lb Mariah on a single axle, etc. The guy will take 750 for it. The only other option I can find is a non matching blue dual axle for 1200... and I can't really afford to spend that much. I do however need a trailer that will work for my boat. I know my buddy has` been pulling his 20ft bayliner (cringe...) on a single w/ no brakes for 4 years with no issues. My tow vehicle is a 2000 Durango r/t 5.9l 4wd. Thanks for the quick help guys. I have no time to make an error on a trailer purchase. Here's the one I'm looking at $750

    19 to 21 Boat trailer
Good call on the dual axle.
A 20 footer is a big pull for a Durango, let alone on a single axle trailer.
Dual axle means you can get some balance. The dual axle trailer is just that a trailer..not a teeter totter taking weight off and on your Durango.
My Mariah is only 2 feet longer. No way I'd go single axle, Even a 5000lb axle. I've not seen a single axle trailer with brakes.
I have a 2500 GMC long box crew and it knows my boat is behind it. I went so far as to swap the factory Eagle trailer to electric brakes from the factory surge.

I bought the tandem, its ugly to me and will really clash with the boat!! (that's what paint's for) and hey, I can't see it from the water... One big drawback, I have to add brakes... not too happy as I thought it had brakes installed... However the tandem is a good starting point and should work fine for now. the rest of it's in pretty good shape considering it was in a field with a junk 20ft sea ray on it. I was in a pinch as I have to pick up the boat tomorrow after work. Thanks again for all the help.
