Default Docking Light Mounting

Hey for those of you with Barnget QL-32 docking lights , are they through hull mounted with bolts and nuts or just screwed into the hull?
Getting ready to mount mine and just wondering if the screws would be sufficient to hold the lamp assembly. Sure would be easier than bolting through.
Thoughts!

My boats still in storage but I'm sure the hull is thick enough to hold the screws. Especially with silicone behind the bezel.

I believe they're just screwed in, but I'll check for you tomorrow when I go work on my Z280.

If you want to make sure they stay put, you could use 3M 5200. That stuff is messy, but once it dries, it's like concrete!

3M 5200 dripped on my concrete and is now part of my concrete so I think it is suitable for holding in docking lights! Its probably even Chuck Norris approved.

Worked great below the water line from removing a transducer from a neighbors boat and filling the holes. Water does not get by it.
