Default wakeboard tower on a Z202 Shabah

Hello all, I own a 98 Z202 Shaba and I have plans on putting a wakeboard tower on it but cannot seem to figure out how to remove the inner panel on the port side? has anyone had any experience removing this and if so can you give me some pointers?

Thnk you,
Andy

Panels should simply slide upwards off the mounting hooks.

It should slide straight up and then out. Make sure you have your engine hatch up when doing it.

If you are talking about the inner fiberglass panels, you need to remove the upper padded trim panel which just lifts off and then remove the long carpeted panel that is held on with screws that are just hidden in the carpet pile. You will then see the upper and lower screws that hold the fiberglass panel in. Remove these and you are in business. Make sure you post some pics of your install, before, during and after. I have a similar boat and am really thinking about a tower.

Thank you all for the helpful information! (there was a broken screw head on the port side that was giving me the problem!) the tower project should be completed soon I will post pics!
