Default bimini top

Hey guys i picked up my 98 180 late last season and i'm looking to replace the bimini top with one thats a little more functional for use and storage.

as you can see from the pics there are 2 supports on each side of the windshield and its big but not that easiest to put up and down. best pics i got of it right now she's still in storage...hoping to go pick her up next week if the weather holds up.

i see a lot of tops are attached to the windshield. is there special hardware for mounting to a windshield and how would i measure to get the right fit?

thanks

I dont know where you live, but in most larger cities where there a countless marine outfitters, new and used sales and repair facilities, you will find at least a 1/2 dozen canvas replacement shops. Many of which work out of your new dealerships (but are not owned by the shop).

These shops offer both replacement canvas and completely brand new (installed) tops. On my Z302 it has a 3 bow model that is good for over 50mph. Im having all my canvas replaced and the completely brand new (with new stainless bows) is only $650 (which includes the zippered boot).

Now if you are any where near LA or Lake Havasu, you can get this same set up for $450.00 (cheaper labor I guess and more demand and competition).

Your looks like a sliding system of some sort. Mine mounts to the top of windshield.
