Ok guys need some help here. We go to the Ozarks every year in August. I am still going to do that but looking for another lake to go to the beginning of July. Would like something that is good size and has some resturants on it and stuff like that. I live by chicago so keep that in mind when making some suggestions. Thanks in advance

My neighbors and I are planning Lake Winnibago in July, looks like a pretty good size lake, we shall see

The chain of lakes around Madison Wis. are fun, the Yahara River runs between them. There is a lock between Lake Mendota and lake Monona. Also The Wisconsin Dells are not bad, but small, Lots to see and do tho. I also like green Lake in Wisconsin. It's one of the deepest lakes in the country.
