Default Blower problems??? Any suggestions?

Hello,
I am having trouble with my blower on my 1999 202 Shabah. When I flip the switch to the on position the light behind the switch does not come on and the blower does not work. I have checked every fuse that I can see and not one of them seem to be blown. I have determined that there is no power getting to the blower but I can't trace the wires back under the dash. I am wondering if there is an in-line fuse anywhere? Or just any suggestions or tips anyone might have.
Thanks,
Evan

There shouldn't be an inline fuse anywhere. Do all of the othe switches on the panel light when you turn them on (i.e. everything else works?) Even though fuses are not blown the contacts are often poor and corroded. I pulled all mine, cleaned them up a bit an put them back with a bit of dielectric grease. I've had very few electrical problems since.

What Z 202 wrote. On our new-to-us-last-season '94 182 Barchetta, neither the courtesy lights nor the bilge pump worked. I found that simply removing and re-inserting the fuses corrected the problem. I noticed that all of the fuse-holders were mildly corroded. So I removed each fuse, brushed each fuse holder with a small electronics soldering tool wire brush, and treated them all with DeOxIt and ProGold.

Otherwise: Maybe your switch is bad?

There are all kinds of manuals, incl. wiring diagrams, available to you if you become a contributing member.
