OK.....I bought this Z302 a couple of months ago and Im doing my winter projects as planned. However Im wondering what goes in the slotted cavity in the dash located in front of the passenger seat.

Its to the right of the glove box like something slips down into it.

Not the glove box, nor the storage compartment on the top, but straight ahead of the seat that is covered up when the sliding door is open.

Here is a pic of another boat. See the white plastic (mine is black) "V" shaped piece just below the cup holder ?

OK...I was hoping that it held a table post or something like that. I may work on something of that nature in the future. There is plenty of room for an airplane sized piece hanging from a post that would slide into that slotted area.

I am in the process of CNC cutting a top for the storage area on top of the dash in front of the passenger seat. Im making it out of a corrian like material that is somewhat heavy and will include a couple of drink holder cut outs. Thats a problem when the door is open, there is no cup holder for the passenger.
