Default 1998 Mariah Jubile 214 Boat Weight

Does anyone know the boat weight of the 98 Jubilee 214? I need to tow the boat approx 200 miles and trying to determine what vehicle to use. I have a Volvo XC90, but not sure if the vehicle is equipped to pull the boat that distance.

Thanks for the help!

Dan

The 1998 Mariah brochure states a weight for the 214 at 3,500 lbs. I would assume that this weight would be with the base 4.3 litre V6. The V8 would be a couple hundred pounds heavier. Remember to consider the weight of 72 gallons of fuel and gear.

plus don't forget to factor in the weight of the trailer. I'd assume probably 1100-1200lbs if it's a steel trailer (like OEM Chariot or Prestige). You'll be very close to the maximum towing capacity of the XC90...

Thanks for the help! I do have the 5.7L V8. I figured the Volvo was too light. I've got a heavy duty Full Size PU that I'm going to pull it with. Appreciate the quick response.
