I want to change it and read in another post that it takes special tools. What tool is it and what is it for?

There are a few things, depending on which drive you're doing.

Alpha One ujoint bellows. Replacing your Alpha One bellows.

I spent a couple minutes to look it over and I don't think its the drive bellow. I was able to pull the boot open and There wasn't anything in the boot. Leads me to believe it's the exhaust boot that has split. Looks like I can just remove the clamps and replace it.

You will have to remove the out drive to clamp the end that attaches to the out-drive You will most likely not be able to get the out-drive down far enough to attach the bellow and be able to get a wrench in there to tighten, Just my thought. Good luck
