I am looking to install a bimini top on my '93 Diablo . I see boats with the top mounted either on the windshield or and on the boat itself. Which is the best location?

I'm not too wild about mounting them to the windshield frame due to the extra stress presented to something that wasn't designed to handle it. I would probably prefer it mounted to the hull itself and mine is attached just inside the side glass.

Thanks for your comments. I agree on the approach and placing it inside the wind shield would help when the top is folded down.
