Default cockpit cover

I am having a new cockpit cover made for my 2000 Mariah 250 does any one need the old one for a template. It is in good shape just shrank as they all do with time. So it would be of little use other than as a template. Has any one ever found replacement keys that have the round Mariah part around the key it self. If so please let me know of ware and how.

Thanks mark

I still have my original cover too, I had the same issue when I first bought the boat. I kept it for some reason, maybe it was sentimental value? It's sat in the garage for the last 3 years. Along with the special tool I had to buy to stretch it to fit the first year.

As for keys, here you go:

He's got the real deal, I ordered a set from him and got it last week. Great guy to do business with!

I took my boat out today just to get my gear all put up in the boat where I wanted it, had to store some new fenders and such... For kicks I thought I would try to put on the Original bimi cockpit cover / camper thing that was in the back of the boat under the sun deck... All I can say is what the heck kind of puzzle is that thing... Is there ANY document that shows how the ORIGINAL mariah bimi / camper thing all goes together ? Good lord, I felt like a total idiot trying to zip this thing to that thing, and snap this and here and that end there.. After flipping things around several time I gave up and thought I would duck in here to see if there was a manual for it, maybe I missed it but I dont see any thing that might help me out...

I'm not sure which model you have, but on my 202 it takes a bit of finesse to get the origninal convertible top out of the engine compartment. Once it's out you just mount the two pole ends into the cleats on the side windshields and snap the canvas to the top of the windshield. There are two straps that secure the aft of the top, they simply run down to cleats mounted on the hull behind the windshield and tensioned accordingly.
