Default Chris Craft Question

Hey guys, I know this is a Mariah board, but I figured someone here may have some good input.
A friends neighbor has a 1999 19' bowrider Chris Craft - looks like a beautiful boat, I had no idea they still made boats! Looks like an expensive boat (when new), he scored it for 9500 bucks - the thing has less than 40 hours and is in pristine condition!!
By the looks of it, I can only assume it's a first class boat, but I have NO idea. My friend and I looked to see if there are any Chris Craft forums, but they're all about the old boats, and we're just trying to find info on this thing (type of hull construction, quality level of the boat, etc.) Or are they just overpriced because of the name?? Thanks for any input!

    Hi kielbasa,

In the interest of helping our fellow boaters, here goes....

Chris Craft boats are considered by many to be on the top end of the quality and cost as they have been building them longer than most other boat manufactures in the US.

As for your friends 19' BR Chris Craft, without knowing more about what options, I/O package and trailer it has, detirmining a good price would be just guessing. As an example, NADA bottom line for this boat is $6570, so the value just goes up from there depending on the extras.

If he's happy with his Chris Craft and with the price he got it for, then enough said.... it was a great deal for him!
