I just got mine, based on an 8k value, at $126 a year. that was through farm bureau insurance agency.

I have mine through boat U.S. Since they are no longer made, you have to declare an agreed value and rates are set accordingly

Went through BoatUS and saved close to 50% from State Farm. I pay $250 for $15K value, including coverage for personal items and enhance liability. You may be able to get some coverage on your home owners - but only for losses beyond deductibles - not repairs due to mishaps. At least that's what my insurance company told me. I pay for my BoatUS membership with towing. It's very cheap and worth it - if you ever need. Hopefully you don't!
