Default v6 12 bolt intake to v6 8 bolt intake motor

bought new mecrusier v6 engine to replace an old 1995 v6 engine. Will the electric fuel pump and v belts bolt onto the new 8 bolt intake motor . I was told to use the 1995 flywheel housing so it mounts correctly in boat am I heading in the right direction? I was told a new 1995 version v6 did not exist brand new, all rebuilds THANKS SCOTT

I'm sorry, Scott, but your post made little sense to me

Sounds like you're asking if you can install a 12-bolt intake manifold on a block that takes an 8-bolt manifold? I'm no expert on these engines: But my guess would be no.

Like I wrote earlier: If you're asking if you can put an intake manifold with a 12-bolt pattern on a block with an 8-bolt pattern: My guess would be no, you cannot.
