I carry an 8# fluke in my locker on 150' 3/8" with 6' of chain. I knocked a hole in the plastic housing of 1 of my docking lights (replaced them with stainless). The carpeting was falling down but I did the rounds this last spring with some adhesive and fixed that. I slide my anchor in tines first and it slides down and rests snuggly against the lug. I next feed the chain in and then lay the coil of rope on top. On top of that, I keep a couple of dock lines handy.

Additional point on the anchor locker. My cover would flop open when things got choppy. The screws in the hinge eventually stripped out and the cover ended up coming off one time (thankfully it ended up in the bow). I eventually found and installed a latch on it which fit right where the finger hole used to be (Perko Flush 0922). I epoxied some wood (swizzle sticks) into the screw holes in the fiber glass and redrilled the screw holes. No more worries.

PS. A side note on anchoring. I also have a backup 13# fluke anchor, 18' chain (3 - 6' sections with clevis'), a 12" anchor buoy, 150' 5/8" anchor braid and an "Anchor Buddy (elastic/spring line)" which I store under the port bow seat. The 13# is a backup should I need it, but I also use it when I want to set up a temporary mooring while camping, houseboating, etc. I set the 13# up on the bouy and drop it aways off shore. When I come in, I attached the boat to the buoy with the Anchor Buddy, bring the boat in shallow to let everyone off, attach a shore line and let out slack and the anchor buddy pulls the boat back to the bouy. Just need to pull the boat back in the shallow with the shore line when we want to use it again. Pretty slick.

Our '94 182 Barchetta doesn't have a dedicated anchor locker. I've got them stored under the port side bow seat. We've a 4-1/2 lb. (2 kg) claw with about 4 feet (1.2m) of chain weighing about 2-1/2 lbs. (1 kg) on 100 feet (30.5m) of line, and a 4-1/2 lb. (2 kg) Danforth on 50 feet (15m) of line. The claw will let us anchor in up to about 20 feet (6m) with a 5:1 scope. The Danforth is the "lunch hook," for anchoring in shallow areas when just hanging out, tho it'd get us by in up to 10 feet (3m) with a 5:1 scope.

Hey there,
We've got the bow anchor storage as well. I keep the all the rope stuff in there, along with the anchor rope in a square platic container. Between the anchor and all the rope items we haven't had any issues with stuff moving around at all. Plus the anchor is heavy enough that with everything in there it won't move hardly at all.

I was thinking (here we go again with another project) about adding some sort of padding for the docking light housing just to be safe, eventually.
