Ever tried taking the top out of it's holder??
Don't get me wrong, I love my 180 Talari, but It's a real pain to pull the convertible top out of it's holder behind the engine. I even enlarged the holes that it sits in.
Anyone discovered a secret technique they would like to share? |
I agree Paul! I've had mine out a few times and determined it isn't worth the effort!

convertible top behind engine?
please elaborate! (post some pics) ... lol. |
I pulled mine out one time to see how it goes up. I think the previous owner did the same. ;)

I put ours up once in the driveway, major pain to get the legs out of the holes it stores in. Last time I took the family out to the lake we put it up again, wasn't too bad. I just flexed the aluminum legs a bit to clear everything. I think it would be real easy if I undid the little lift cylinder on one side that holds up the engine cover.

I got mine out once by pulling one side up and flexing the legs in. It was a pain but I got it:) I doubt I'll do it again though.
