Question power stern light

Hey folks,Hope all is well in Mariah land.I have a question regarding the motorized telescoping stern light.Mine is inoperative on my 98 shabah Z210.Test light shows fire going to it.This may be as simple as which switch on the dash operates it?However,I have tried them all.Input/experience on this would be appreciated.By the way, which switch does operate it?

The switch that says "Nav" and "Anchor" should operate it. To the best of my knowledge, they still manufacture this, it's made by Innovative Lighting Products. They make an LED version which uses less juice too!

I also had to replace the power stern light on my '97 Z222. The above recommendation is right-on. That is who I bought my replacement from and it was an easy swap. I replaced 3 years ago and haven't had a problem.

Does anyone know if you can buy just the lens? A friend of mine is getting ready to buy a 2000 Shabah Z222 and the lens on the stern light is missing.

    Thanks.

I don't know about the 2000 model, but i know on my '97 you could not just change the lens. I would call and talk to someone at the following; http://www.innovativelight.com/. There were very helpful to me a couple years back on my swap from the old style to the new.

    Question Re: power stern light

Does anyone know if Inovation Lighting or ANY company that sells a power stern light, such as the one that's mounted in my '99 Z222 Shabah? Is conversion over to a external mount my only choice? Probably so...

Innovation stopped making that power light a few years ago. No other option other than trying to repair the one you have, find a used replacement or switch to an external mount antenna.

Mine was not working when I bought my boat in the spring. I cleaned each wire end on the light and also cleaned all the terminals behind the radio on the fuse block and installed a new fuse. There was white corrosion on everything. The power light is working again with no issue. Try that first you might get lucky like I did, otherwise it will have to be switched to a manual one.
