Default Help With Tower

Hello all, I need some help with a tower on my Z272 Barchetta. I have been advised that the boat is too big and the tower will not look good. I saw that great one on No Drama but I can't find one that looks anything like it. Does anyone have any pictures of there 25 + boats that have a tower on them. I am digging through all the Gallery pics but have not really found what I am looking for. Before I drop the cash on the tower I want to know it will look right. Thanks, Jas

Here's some pics Jason of a Samson Sports Tower on our 2001 252 Shabah. The info on the tower is here: http://samsonsports.com/wakeboard_to...stom_edge.html

Thanks MariahMan, I checked out the site and called them, yours is the biggest Mariah they have done and they don't have the template to build one for my 94, shame because that tower looks really really good. I have found a local company in Oklahoma that I have been talking with that has one similar without the cool angle cuts that are in yours. My concern was if the lines would match up The tower I am looking at is a Big Air Vapor made in Duncan, OK. Here is the link.. http://www.bigairpylons.com/VaporTower.htm It is a bit cheaper than Samson but is not custom fit like theirs. I would actually rather pay the extra money but they can not build one unless they have the dimensions of the boat. My other concern is the fact that the Bimini that they make is only 6 feet. I am actually trying to talk with them and custom make an extension piece that would add another 4 feet to the mounted Bimini and be removable so that the rope won't get in the way. It sure is hard trying to make EVERYONE happy. Thanks for the quick reply, your boat is BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks for the compliments Jason, i'm glad i was able to help.

We worked with Scott at Samson Sports to get our tower made. The dealer we purchased the boat from provided Scott the detailed measurements and Samson built the tower off of those numbers. The tower was delivered to the dealer several weeks later and it was installed in about a day. The tower fits beautifully and really adds to the boat. I'd be hesitant to put a universal fit tower on any Mariah just because there's the chance that it will detract from the looks of the boat. This seems to be the case with most of the cheaper universal towers.

You get what you pay for though.

I spoke with the folks at Samson on a custom tower and they can not find my exact match. Can someone tell me what boat hulls were the same as mine? They have a bunch of Mariah's on file but not a 1994 Z272 Barchetta. I know the 95 is the same as that is when mine actually was listed but I'm sure there are other hulls that match. What year did they make the change over to the new hull? If I can find the same outer upper boat design they can research the measurements for me. Thanks, jas
