Wow thanks i would love to see this paperwork you came across. Okay so are there three models for the 1993 Shabah a base model, MX, and the Z. Is that correct? If so what options did the MX come with that the base model didnt come with? I know the Z has all the windshield wiper and defogger and stuff but what is the difference in the MX? There were just the 2 models, the MX Pkg. which would be the base model and the Z Pkg.

Any idea when this info will be available? I will be picking up the boat I just purchased, but I would love to be able to distinguish before hand.. I keep trying to find information on it, but it turns out not many of you guys have the Mariah Shabah 183C which is what I bought. It is a 2000 with 95 hours on it. I got it for $8500 CDN but now I am looking for a trailer so I can pick it up from the Marina. The owner tells me it has the depth sounder, the compas a radio, etc. But from the brochures I have it is tough to tell if it is a Z or not.. The serial number is MAB---00. I know the original owner (hence the decision to purchase unseen) but it would be great to know exactly what it is.. Thanks!!! Oh yeah and if any of you guys have a 183C I would love to see some pics. I do know that the boat has the super sport interior in it.

I strongly recommend becoming a contributing member, the information available would answer many of your questions and assist you in maintaining and keeping your Mariah in top form!

Hi 22empire,

Please look at the third post of this thread, I explain to Irace82 how to identify a "Z" model. It's the defogger, this piece of equipment seems to be consistent to the "Z" models only and as far as I know, was not offered as an option for the standard models.

I looked up the Hull ID # & it is not a Z Model.

If you mean a bucket seat with slide/swivel then yes. I believe the pedestals & spiders were made by Springfield. The difficulty will be finding an original Mariah bucket seat.

No problem with the bucket, they are still there. But I am a big fella that needs some room. I was worried that there wasn't much behind the wheel. Like I said I haven't had mine out on the water yet..
