Dunno until we get some more info. The vin# doesnt tell you much other than the model year. Post a pic or two particularly of the dash area and exterior?
Mariah had an MX series, a 1900 Z, a Shabah, Talari & Barchetta all in that size bracket for 1993. If it has things like a drivers side windshield wiper, docking lights, built in compass & digital depth sounder then it most likely is a "1900 Z" series. btw...it is a '93 by the vin# but your ID shows a '92 Talari 19'. According to the brochure the Talari only came in 20' versions for '93. If it is in fact a 19' then i suspect its either an MX or a 1900 series. The pics will help. |

There are several ways to identify a "Z" model but I find the easiest way is by looking on top of the driver's dash. If you have a windshield defogger vent there, it's a "Z". Only the "Z" models from the 1900 Z all the way up to the 2350CZ came with a power windshield defogger for the driver's side in 93. Another item is the Hull Docking lights, all "Z"s came standard with them but be careful, they were offered as an option for the non "Z" models. So check for the defogger. WetWilly |

I have a 93 Shabah and i know its not a Z but you were referring to another package i guess... you said there was an MX? What all does that consist of? I know pictures will help but if i can give you my hull number can you tell me anything about it that way? Sorry i am very new to the Mariah and boating period for that matter. But wow they are beautiful boats there was nothing else in that year range or price range that compared to the boat i just bought!

Go to the "Original Mariah Boats, Inc." forum and look under the sub forum, "Original Mariah Manuals and Supplements", here you will find a 1993 Mariah brochure with pictures and details of your MX 198 Shabah as well as the other 93 models, standard and optional features, colors and a story about Mariah and how your boat was constructed. SA Charlie, Your boat is definately a 1993 Z Model based on the Hull ID #. Mariah shipped your boat in Oct. of 92.
