Does anyone know if you can determine the option level of a boat based on the Serial #. Similar to the VIN on a vehicle.. The boat in question is a 2000 Shabah 183, But I am not sure of the equipment level. It is currently in winter storage but I am trying to do as much research ahead of time as possible..

Does anyone have any pictures of this model.. It is quite difficult to find some..

As a 'silver' contributor, you have access to our Promotional Materials Archive which contains a 2000 Millenium brochure. The '183' model is shown there with all the relevant options available.

As for the serial # breakdown, check out this post:

Hull Identification Numbers (HIN's)

There is nothing in the serial # though that tells you what options were included with the boat.

I had a look that sums up the HIN.. I do have the 2000 brochure, I was just wondering if others had some more detailed pictures.. Unfortunately we are buried in snow.. I am hoping for an early spring I suppose.. But what boater isn't?..

i checked our gallery but i dont see any pics of a 183 posted there either.
