Default Speedomter location

I own a 1996 Mariah Shabah 180 and my speedometer is not working does anyone know where to find the inlet or is there a tube on the outdrive? I have found a few places where it might be but I am not sure if any of them are the right place?

do a search here on the forum, there's some helpful photos that show where it's at... If you can't find the photos, I'll explain it as easy as I can. It's on the outdrive, about 3/4 of the way to the bottom, it's a little indentation in the back. That's the water pickup. Chances are if you clean it out with a coat hanger or a drillbit (*not attached to a drill!*), that'll fix your problem.

Assuming you have the Alpha one, my intake was infront of the drive unit, where it starts to meet the skeg. Little hole. The tube that comes out fo the drive, was inbetween the trim rams, and there was a white 1/4 turn clip. Also if you want to get to the speedometer for the tube directly coming off it, you can get to it by going in the bow, and lifting the headrest on the starboard side (obviously) and it will expose the speedometer, tach and all the other gauges and wiring. Look out you might lose you hand in the wiring
