Hi Jeff, looks like something the previous owner did. You couldn't install the switch if the knobs were glued on (knob too big to fit through the hole :D). WetWilly |

Re: Got to have lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It stands to reason that the factory could have glued the knobs on after the switches were installed.:shakehead:

True, but then you'll have your situation, can't remove the switch because the knobs are too big to fit through the holes :shakehead: WetWilly |
Re: Got to have lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good way for the factory to sell more switches. Wouldn’t be the first time an OEM made it difficult to service a part.
I would gather from what you are saying though, that on other Mariah boats the factory didn’t typically glue on the switch knobs so it must have been a previous owner. Jeff B. |

As SEMIJim said, "it's not the way Mariah did things..." So I would say it was someone else... WetWilly |
Re: Got to have lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you sure they are glued on, mine were very tight and I had to lever them off with a screwdriver (very carefully)

Re: Got to have lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
same here, a very careful push, tug and pull, and they popped off, no glue!
