Default 2002 Z275 Battery Charging System.

Afternoon Fellow Mariah Owners.

Just purchased a new Mariah and was looking for anyone who might have a 2002 Z275st owners manual or Mercruiser and Bravo 3 Manual. Any specific info on the 3 bank battery system or wiring diagrams would be helpful too I checked here already but everything seems to be Mariah promo info, brochures and propaganda and not mechanical or technical which is what I'm needing.

Thanks in advance

As you have found the info on Mercruiser stuff is limited here. I would suggest finding the model of charging system you have and going down that rabbit hole on Google or Bing or whatever you use. In regards to the motor/drive stuff I know that info is out there on a search as well. A quick search got me THIS for the Mercuiser manual. I know they are out there for both.

Congrats on the 275ST! Thats the boat I wish I had!

Here is some info on the 2002 Mariahs from Shabah280z:
"The last boat I have record of is 21864, a 180 SS manufactured on 4/27/01. They began using the 2002 model year number in late March of '01 for certain models, including the 2002 prototypes. The last 7 boats that were made were listed as "sales demos" with 2002 serial numbers."

I think that what you are looking for is there under the "Original Mariah Manuals & Supplements" on page 3 entitled "Mariah Cruiser Electrical System Review & Procedures". Dont get hung up on specific model years because it wont be any different from 2000 thru 2002. I'm not allowed to provide a link to that restricted section but as a silver contributor, you should have access to it.

Thanks MikeyT and Motoxxx but nothing in those supplements will help. I need to open the engine hatch. It is motorized and I have no power. Is there a way to open it and what is the best way to charge my 3 batteries if I can't open the hatch. I am reluctant to use the 30A ship to shore power system to charge the battery as it hasn't been tested and I can't open the hatch.
Perhaps I can use the cig lighter to trickle charge. Any thoughts ?

You can try charging using the cigarette lighter port but if the battery is really shot it may not accept a charge.
Can you manually lift the hatch enough to remove the pin?
