Default BLS-7650 Blue Seas with ACR need help please?

The previous owner installed a two battery system on my 96 Shabah Z255. Last year I decided to go with the Blue Seas 7650 with ACR and thought I installed correctly but looking into the install further I believe I installed incorrectly. See below for why.

I have the starting battery with positive going to switch terminal 2 and then a positive from the second terminal labeled 2 going to starter. I then have ground going to ground on starter. I do not even have the house battery hooked for test purposes so disregard that side for right now.
When I turn the switch to on the engine turns over but all the helm switches also function. How is power getting to the breaker box on the side below the steering wheel if the only power i have hooked up is to starter?

I thought by adding the two battery system that the starting battery was to start and the house battery supplied power to all the accessory at the helm?

I then noticed that there was a second 4 gauge red wire and I believe a orange wire also at the positive terminal of the starter besides the power wire I connected from the switch.

Now my question is that other 4 gauge red wire and the orange wire suppose to stay connected or are those two wires or one of those wires suppose to connect to the switch when the house battery is added?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

    Hi tpdtopcop,

I am about to install the same thing on my 98 202 tomorrow. I cant imagine the two being all that different.
if you have any pics please post them and I will do the same on mine and we can try to figure this out together.

Thanks for the reply. I believe I have found some of my own answers since my post didn't get any response except for yours. In setting everything up and putting wires on and off I may have figured it out. I could not figure out why the helm was powered up when the only battery I had hooked up was the starting battery. I then found another 4 gauge wire besides the power wire to the starter. I unhooked this other wire and just hooked up the power from switch to starter and nothing worked , no start and no power to any of my switches. So I surmised that Mariah ran the helm power to the starter instead of the battery I took my starter off to have it checked and haven't got it back on engine yet , so when I do I will leave that power wire off the starter and run it to my switch and I will let you know how it goes.
