Default Drain worn/broken

Just bought this boat last week and trying to figure out model
Its a 1997 cuddy and numbers on passenger winshield say z226

Problem i have is the drain both in the sink and mainly the floor between driver and passenger sink has this plastic worn out chrome thing. Can i replace this with stainless? Everything on the boat is stainless besides these cheasy drains? What is that storage compartment for on the floor its about foot wide and 10 inches deep.. Ice chest on the floor? The drain is so worn out 1/2 of it is just the rubber gasket. Anybody know of a stainless replacement that fits? Also since its in the floor most drains have a nut underneeth to secure. Do i have access to this area to do so and if so how?

Thanks
Jack

Sorry for the double post but how concerned should i be with these drains? I spent 3-4 hours the first day just holding a hose in them and getting them to flow. Previous owner let this boat sit and there was so much dust dirt crud and bugs that nothing was flowing. I got a lot of it cleaned up and flowing. I was concerned with just holding a hose in the boat. The floor is fiberglass/ no carpet so can i normally just wash this down if needed? One last thing is my driveway is curved down to sidewalk sonits really hard to get the nose up far enough to get the water out. After i was done washing/ cleaning i parked the boat and noticed a bunch of water just come back towards the bow and noticed the carpet was wet in the cuddy. Is thisvok to leave for a few days or should i take it back out to street and completely drain it? I dont even see a drain in cuddy but it somehow got there. So im guessing there is a drain under the carpet in the cuddy? Thanks guys

I've found a lot of high quality stuff at R/V and camper sales business'. Finding the exact replacement is going to be tough. I eneded up buying all new drains and replacing them with all new.
I know that's not what you want to hear but that's the best I've personally found.
