Hi all! New member here. Looking at a 2001 z275st. Has just over 300 hours and one of the most beautiful boats I've ever seen. I've been trying to find the original msrp on this model and have had no luck. Does anyone know what these boats went for in 2001?
I'm also curious where to finance a boat. Looking for 15 years. Where do you guys suggest?
I'm sure I'll have many more questions as I get deeper into this. Very excited and hope the purchase goes smoothly.

Though I can't find the original MSRP for a 2001 275 there is a price sheet for the 2000 year models which the 275 was not made. There is another 27' bow rider that is similar yet not the same. For what it is work the MSRP ranges from about 55-75k depending on the options. Like I said- that is a model year older and a similar length bow rider not a mid cabin open bow.

As for finance, I have personally only used credit unions for my toy financing. I have no experience with a loan over 60 mo and wouldn't know where to look.

Something I took lightly prior to purchasing my 250 was the weight of the whole package in regards to safe towing. I have an older f150 and it did work pulling the new-to-me boat 16 hrs home. Food for thought.

Thanks for the response! I was thinking is was around $80-$100k.
I've checked with my banks but the don't finance boats this old.

The Z275ST was probably around $60-80k MSRP, based on comparisons with the 2000 price lists. But that really shouldn't play much into your purchase price. Boats, just like cars lose a good percentage of their MSRP once they leave the showroom floor, and deteriorate each year. 300 hours is definitely a boat that's been babied, but as with any boat over 25ft, I'd pay the extra few hundred dollars and have it surveyed before committing to buying. If nothing else, it's peace of mind from a professional certified surveyor that the boat's in good shape and won't give you any significant problems long-term.

True, most places won't finance an older boat without a considerable down payment, or a sticker price over $25k, especially for 15 years. You may have a little better luck with a credit union, but still don't expect a 15 year plan. I bought my '99 Z280 in 2012, and was only able to finance it for 10 years through a credit union.

Thanks! I was just curios what they were priced at new. Definitely won't use that price to compute current value! Been looking around this site the last couple of days and really appreciate all the great info!

Finance a 14 year old boat for 15 years? I wouldn't suggest such a thing myself.
