Hello all,
New to forum but purchased my 2001 Z275 in early summer. Nice ride and plenty of room. Just recently had issues with dead battery and after reading several postings I realized that the boat originally came with 3 batteries. My boat has 5 batteries. Looking for an original wiring diagram. Found a 280 diagram on the manual section but thought to see if anyone had an 275 wiring diagram.

Just 1. Going back to original 3 battery setup. Not sure the reason for 5. Made no sense.

Welcome to the board mrussell! Yes, 5 batteries is a bit overkill. Previous owner must have had a huge stereo. Check the 2001 wiring diagrams for the 27' Cuddy, or the 30' Offshore. Those are much more similar of a boat to yours.

The 280 is the cruiser, and will have a much more complicated wiring diagram because of the shorepower, inverter & generator systems.

At any rate, going back to the 3 battery system is a great idea... Hopefully it won't be too complicated to resolve!
