Thanks guys ... Sounds like a good idea ... I found one online , a solid stainless steel one . I just need a pulley for it . Any idea where to get a pulley for it ???

Check HERE for the pulley.
Just make sure you have the right serial number.
That one might be the one you need , or might not. But you can do your own search , and at least get the part number if you want to look elsewhere for a better deal.

Is your engine MPI or Carbed?

Well my sea water pump cracked apart in the rear ,,, it's plastic ofcorse ... Any idea where I get the engine # to order the replacement parts ?

See if you have the drive # on the outer transom mount. That should do the trick.
Otherwise , it should be on a valve cover , carb cover , or maybe the right rear(port side) of the engine on the bell housing.
