what kind of oil should I put in my mercruiser 4.3 L with 126 hours on it? This is for the inboard motor.

i would go with a full synthetic marine 4 cycle oil. donot use the same oil as your vechile b/c it is made for a different purpose. when was the last time the engine in your car was running at full rpms for an extended period of time? never. motor are made to hold high rpms for a long time and your car motor is made for intermittent high rpms hence the transmission.

This should help. Nothing better for a Mercruiser engine than Mercruiser oils.
