I’m having the same issue with my choke. I have no choke support. The butterfly stays open at all times. What did you do to help this issue?

    Neither WetWilly nor Midwest Mariah have been here since 2011. Midwest suggested that he simply worked on cleaning up the linkage for the butterfly valve and got it working properly. You could also check You Tube for a video on adjusting the 3.0 liter carb and that should show you how to do it.

    I did not even think to look at the dates on those. Sorry about that. Thank you for responding. I got it figured out. I had to push the driveshaft forward and it released the butterfly from whatever was holding it in place.
