Cool Looking for Speedo Pickup for 1999 Shabah 250

Can you find the original speedo pickup sensor on back of stern or do you just need to replace with a GPS unit

The speedo pickup sensor is in the outdrive. If your speedo isn't working, it's probably blocked. On your outdrive, down by the bottom fin, there is a small cut out indentation in the back (towards the boat). It tends to get clogged with debris every now and then, and just needs to be cleaned out with a nail, coat hanger, or a drill bit (not attached to drill!)

The paddlewheel sensor that is located on the port side next to the outdrive is for the "Trip Computer", (like an odometer). It's the small black rectangular analog gauge on the dash.

Thank you. I just assumed the trip pickup was the speedo like the old school kind you normally see. The trip odometer does not work either because the wheel is gone but the bracket is there. I will look for the hole on the outdrive and hope that's the easy fix. Can you still get the paddle wheel replacement for the trip odometer. I just purchased this boat and wanted to make sure everything works.

I see you have the same boat. Ever have a trim issue for trim up at the captains seat controls. Rear trim switch and trailer switch work fine so I am assuming its the switch in the throttle?

    Thank you for the help
