Stereo Bezel Panel For Sale
 

I have an Aluminum Stereo Bezel for sale. I had 2 of them made, 1 wrapped in a Carbon Fiber film which I kept and the other with the Original Black film. I had these made at a Local Machine shop and it fits great. There is no plastic that will break, it's all out of 1/8" aluminum for better support. I had the Font matched from the Original Bezel so that from the front it still looks original. This will fit the Mariah's with the Mark VIII Dash Panel. $150 Call me 573-243-8625

Yeah, the cutout Dimensions are pretty standard size but here they are, 2-1/8" x 7-3/16" +- measuring with a tape measure.

I'm getting readt to replace my original cassette deck to a CD player in my 95 Shabah Z212. I could use a new faceplate/bezel as mine is slighty cracked. I tried your phone number a few times and it was busy. Do you still have any Bezel's left? Any info would be great. Thanks Mike.

I'd also like to get one so when I do replace my sterio (this winter) I will have a new one to slap in there before mine breaks. Its cracked now. This would fit a 95 Z212 Shabah right?

I found in the FAQ's section, a CAD drawling for the radio bezel. I am having a local water jet cutting company make me one. I'm having it made from 1/8" stainless steel, but could also be done in aluminum. They told me 127 for stainless and like 119 for aluminum.

I can send you a pic of mine once I get it made if you'd like.

I don't want to step on any bodies toes. But I own a machine shop complete with a 1500 watt laser. I cut stainless up to 1/4" thick and aluminum, to 3/16". I've made some instrument plates for small airplane in the past.

If someone has an acad file or a dzf file of an instrument panel they want made, I'd love to make a couple. As a Mariah owner, I know how hard it is to get some of these parts and how expensive they can be. My laser can etch as well. Etching anodized aluminum looks very nice.

From the pictures in this post, if there's an acad file and I don't have to manually program. And you want to polish the stainless. It's a $50 bill to make...... In aluminum, I'd suggest anodizing, a 10 piece minimum would probably be needed to get them down around $50.

Also, If you have a sample we can make from that, just a little more for the first one to take care of programming time.

Think the cold weather is done for the year in Tulsa......plan on taking my Z272 out tomorrow for it's first outing in 2015. Can't wait.

One of the other threads has an AutoCad file for one, but the only problem is the piece they made was intended to be a reinforcement, rather than the top piece. So it basically has all the proper cutouts except for the temp display. Instead of just a window for the display, it has a cutout large enough for the entire temp display assembly. Once I get the measurements of this window, and the correct distance from the switches and radio opening then I will have a complete drawling that we could easily adjust to "customize" it for people. Some people want both din cut outs, some only want one, some want a double din, some don't want the hole for the kill switch that is just "plugged" on most boats anyways.

Sorry to add on, but would also like the file if somebody has it to send? Been looking for 1 to copy since ours is gone and has cheap replacement and if had a file have friends with CNC I can have it made on.

Here is a cad file and inventor file for the console plate. Edit as you wish. This seemed to fit my boat so double check the dimensions for your boat. I make no guarantee that this is 100% correct.

4 mm galvanized iron.
I first made a wooden mold.
Cut out with a jigsaw.
Took me three hours of work.

That cad file was used to laser cut the plate out of 7ga stainless steel.
