Default 94 Z212 windshield

Does anyone have any suggestions on tracking down original windshield vendor for a 94? If they were built in-house by Mariah, any suggestions on another vendor who could do the job to OEM specs?

They were originally built by Taylor Made. According to them, Mariah assembled the windshields by picking and matching different models of Taylor Made's windshields together. Supposedly there is a model number stamped somewhere on each window frame (not in the glass itself). If you can find that number, Taylor Made will help you find a replacement.

    Thanks Chris,
Unfortunately, I do not have the original windshield (long gone when I got the boat). We do have a member who cold help. I've admired his boat a couple times. Mariahmanic has an immaculate specimen.
Otherwise, I will seek out a local boat builder (there's a good one in Sylvan Lake, Alberta) to see if they can closely match the original. I could use some good photos from several angles of the OEM shield if anyone has some?
    Cheers

Once I figure out where the numbers are located, I'll try and have everyone post their windshield serial numbers up so we can have an "ultimate window replacement part list". I'm picking my boat up tonight, so I'll try and locate them on mine within the next week, so I can give other people instructions where to look!

When i tried to get Taylor Made to supply me with a replacement windshield they said the number was down inside the window track. This the response i got from a Gale Maye ([email protected]) at Taylor Made.

When Mariah was in business they would buy fronts, door, and wings from us separately and mix them up on the windshields. For that reason we do not know what windshield is on this boat. If you look on the inside of the bottom trim there is a 6 to 9 digit number. if you can provide that we can see if we can still manufacture the parts for this windshield.

I gave them the # i found but no luck. I ended up having one made out of acrylic by a local plastic company. It does the job but there is a little bit of distortion which can be annoying at times.
