    Ummm...that is 'unique' but not something i would want to tackle. By the time you install an outboard or an i/o setup that cost, along with the sellers price, is going to be far more than the finished boat is worth...

    I agree Mikey, the price is a bit (lot) rich! but i think he's trying to cover the cost of the trailer....
    IMO the boat it's self is only worth a couple hundred pounds.

    Were these boats ever built for outboards? or has the transom been repaired?
    If you were to do this boat, I think a standoff box and outboard would be the only viable way now!

    I've just never seen a Mariah that old over here before!
    they never really became popular over here until the late 90's
    And of course there are plenty of SX Mariah's about

    I've asked him for the HIN number

    Mariah did make an outboard version back in '91-92 but i believe only in the 18' Diablo version. I'm pretty sure i've never seen an ob Mariah any larger than that. I suspect his transom had completely rotted out so its been rebuilt to accept a new i/o or maybe even an outboard on an adjustable jack plate.
