Default Boat identification

Do you know what model this is. 2002 202 or something else. I compared models from gallery and I am sooo confused. This boat is in Estonia and I live in Finland... http://eng.auto24.ee/used/1014347

    Buyer beware!

If I'm not mistaken, that's a Florida registration on the side of it.

The console shape shows that it's most definitely not a 2002. Since the console inserts are the color of the accents, I'd say it's a '95 or '96. I think 97 is when they started using the wood grain color.? Or was it '96?

It's on a maxum trailer that doesn't fit it right and certainly looks to have seen better days.

Pics are from two different locations. In one set, it appears to be missing the rear sun deck. Conspicuously, there are no pics of the interior. Flood damaged boat from the US?

Wonder if it broke free of it's mooring in FL and drifted across the pond.

Oops. I didn't read your post very well. You were looking for the model, not year.

MMiller describes the model designations from the 90's in this thread.

Oh yeah, and my guess... 96 Shabah 202

I think that is a 198. Im not positive. The listing is very odd. Example; it states there are "trim tabs" on this boat which you can clearly see from the pictures it does not. Id call them for more info. As for the year, get the VIN. The last two #'s are the year. I can tell you it is not a 2002. For one there were not many Mariahs made in 2002. Two, it says original date registered was 12/1997.

    Look at these photos:

What he said ^^^. I think Moto nailed it. The 198 from the gallery has the same ladder mount too. Now that I think about it, I don't know that I've seen a 200/202 with the ladder on top of the swim platform.

Still wonder about the wood grain colored console pieces though. When did Mariah start using those?

Hi Mikko.. It looks like a Shabah 180 or 190 or maybe even a 202 from about 1996 - 1998 but as BlockP points out, i would be a bit concerned about the Florida, USA registration number on a boat sitting in Estonia. There is a tag on the starboard side of the transom that has the Hull identification number on it. The last two digits are the model year of the boat. If you provide the full ID#, we can check the records for you.

The other issue you will run into with this boat is getting a CE registration done in Europe. I'm not certain of all of the CE requirements but there are links contained in this thread that will help you out.
