Smile New Mariah owner

Hello everyone. I just became an owner of a 1994 Mariah with a 4.3 Mercruiser. I can't tell you what model it is because I haven't seen it yet. Sounds strange, I know, but the boat belonged to my son-in-law's father who passed away a few months ago. I know the boat has been well taken care of and have been told that it is 18 1/2' but I believe it is 19'. I live in Canada right on Lake of the Woods in Ontario near the Manitoba border but as it is still very much winter here, I probably won't even see it before late April. It is currently bubble packed and in storage at a marina. I have already learned quite a bit about Mariah boats from reading entries in this forum and look forward to getting advice from experienced Mariah owners.

BTW, my old boat is a 1971 18 ' aluminum Srarcraft with an 85 hp outboard. My wife says it has to be gone before I can bring the Mariah home. Anyone interested? LOL.
