Looking forward to getting in water! Just noticed that the motor will lower but not raise back up? Would love an owners manual!

    Welcome to MOC Larry! Here
is some info on "Owners Manuals".
As for your Trim issues , take a look at THIS thread.

Are you using the trailer button to raise the drive?

Just had the same type of problem. The lower unit would be raised by the trailer switch so those mechanics were working. My mechanic corrected the problem by cleaning the trim switch. I do not know what he used but it did not take him very long.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately the only switch I can find is on the throttle. Where is the trailer switch? At this point the motor is all the way down which would make it difficult to haul to a mechanic.

Both the trim and trailer switch are on the throttle handle. The trailer switch is the square button just below the trim switch. To fully raise the out drive, press the button until you hear the pump stop working.

Jimh thank you, I too couldn't find the trailer trim switch....very smart Mariah.....tricky Our trim isn't going all the way up either, so we are going to look at the trim switch/ clean it and readjust it.

There is a difference between the trim switch and the trailer switch. The trim switch only offers limited up movement (which is why its a 'trim' switch) and full down movement. The trailer switch is used to fully raise the outdrive. Most boat manufacturers arrange them this way so its not Mariah being 'tricky'. Note also that some boats have a trailer switch on the transom too that makes things easier when you're on land. They are easy to add IF you are capable of a little electrical work.

thanks, so I guess my question is......how far up does it go with "trim up" being used. I'll try to get a pic of mine full trim up and post it for you to inspect.

The 'up' trim likely only moves about 25-30 degrees at most. Its designed that way as a safety feature.
