Welcome! I have a 2004 SC21- its the cuddy version of the SX. Has the 4.3 Mercruiser in it with an Alpha One outdrive. It has been an enjoyable boat for us. Only hint or tip I can think of to pass on would be to check the bench seats to be sure they are sound. I stepped on one of the bench seats and it kinda folded in the middle a bit. After replacing with a different material other than wood it has been fine.
There is a lot of info on MOC, enjoy

    Welcome to MOC Mike!
In addition to Motos' tip , it seems that the heads rests can be a problem for moisture decay also.
    Once again ,
    Welcome

    Thanks Guys,

Interestingly looked at an SX21 yesterday and noticed one of the headrests coming away. Also the rear bench seat is issue is something I suffered from whilst owning a Shetland 4+2 in the UK. Wood used not up to purpose and had to replace with a metal frame.

    Thanks for the tips.
