some people call me the Queenie Sweenie...just signed up and saying hi, have a new 1995 Barchetta 182, 3rd time on water...still learning...not sure about the darn trailering switch...and how to raise the bimini...anyone have success with the Mariah biminis tops? (gets sunny on our river)

As for bimini's there are lots of different styles. Can u upload a pic so that we can see what yours looks like?

here's a pic(s)! the bimini is under the sundeck, the previous owners hadn't used it (they were 2nd owners for one season, sold then for a down payment on a house (young couple) original owners probably used it...I'm not sure how to get it to raise up and then how will it attach?

thanks...the trailering switch is sort of 'stuck'...and it likes to hide after a few drinks...but I have push up and over very hard with my thumb to get it to engage, I think the button mechanism itself is abused...the switch isn't fully flush...its sort of shove up a teense...

I love the interior. I'm guessing you have a convertible top that snaps across the top of your windshield. I'm not sure where the poles attach on your model but mine has a bracket on top of the side glass and the pole is held there by a snap pin. It then has an adjustable strap that clips into a bracket further back past my side glass. Also, getting my top out of the storage area is a challenge... it comes out, but it's like some type of mind teaser game getting out or and back in.. but again.... this might just be my boat lol. They are notorious for being a pain in the butt too access. A lot of members have enlarged the holes for easier movement.
If you'll do a search , there are quite a few threads on the tops and access of.

I attached a webbing strap to the sun pad so that I can disconnect the gas struts and just lean the pad back out of the way. with the struts disconnected the hood comes out easy
The one thing I did add was support bars instead of the tie down straps, that way I can have the hood in place but not unfolded.... if you know what I mean
