I just got a 95 Barchetta 182 myself. Took it out for the first trip over the weekend. It was GREAT!

and I have an abundance of stupid questions, so don't feel like you might be the only one. Heck last week I had to have ColoradoDiablo verify for me that there is only 1 drain plug on the boat. Better to just ask and know than guess. He didn't even harass me about it. So I think you'll be safe.

OK here is a question I'm trying to find out about windshields. I know I can have one made up but I'm also trying to see if only a certain kind, or if I find another 18ft boat I can look into grabbing the windshield.

With a Mariah 180 if you can find another Mariah 18' - 20' the windshield should fit although you will have to check the window 'wings' to see if it matches the profile on your boat. Just as a general rule of thumb, Talari & Diablo side glass tends to be 'pointed' at the back where Shabah glass tends to be 'angled'. Unfortunately finding glass for an original Mariah can be very difficult. As for the fit of glass from a different brand of boat, i can only suggest you start making use of a tape measure to see if the dimensions match up.

There is one complete set of glass from a '92 Diablo 18' on eBay right now that may fit your boat. And its probably the lowest price i've seen....

I thought the Barchettas had the Shabah cutback wings.

Looking at some of our gallery pics, i think you are right. Barchettas & Shabahs generally had one style side glass while Talaris & Diablos had a different side glass although it doesn't seem to hold true in all of the model years.
