Default old Shabah vs new SX

Ive had a Shabah 202 with the 350 for years, love it. She is gone now and I'm looking for a replacement. I found a SX 25 so wondering how the newer Mariahs are holding up with regard to quality. I've been looking for a z245 for a long time and I feel like it's not going to happen anytime soon since they seem to be so rare. I'm looking to fill the void and I'm hesitant about the new Mariah's and this one has alot of hours.

The new Mariah's are not of the same quality as the original Mariah boats but they are decent boats and built to a price point. If you do a site search for "SX25" you will find a few threads discussing that particular model.

One of our members currently has a Z275ST for sale right now! It needs a little interior refurbishing in the cabin, but it's a good boat, and the next step up from the Z245!

He also has it listed on Craigslist for $20k, there's a link in our "Mariah Boats for Sale" section of the forum.

Thanks for the feedback. I saw the 275 and am bidding on it already. It's a long haul to upstate ny though. There is a beautiful z250 with indy graphics and 7.4, less than 45 min away but I'd like an open bow. Thanks again and I will keep looking!

Actually just sold my old Z250 last week, apparently to someone in South Dakota. That's about an 1000 mile trip one way from Cincinnati.

If you find the boat you want, most of the time you better be prepared to drive, or have it transported! My old Z250 came from Baltimore, and my Z280 came from Georgia. Ended up driving around 8hrs each way both times! Us Mariah owners are just crazy enough to do it!

I'll second that. I drove 11 hours to pick up my 2000 Shabah 250 and 16 hours back towing with my 99' F150. Was worth the long haul. I also have a 2004 SC21 that is for sale. I liked it a lot and thought I'd upgrade to the 2000 Shabah. It was quite the upgrade. We don't wakeboard off the 250 like we did the SC21 but it does everything else I wanted out of my boat.
