I am new proud owner of a Mariah 250. I have been searching the internet trying to find another vessel with the same captain & mate chairs as mine. What is different about my chairs is that there is a 1inch black border around the crest on the head rest. Has anyone know if was an factory option?

I have a Z250 and I've only seen that once before, which was probably the pics of your boat when it was advertised. I never saw that offered as a factory option. I'll look into it and let you know what I find.

Also, I don't believe they made just plain 250 Limited Editions. Does your boat have the window defogger on the drivers dash, buckskin (light beige) interior, a solid gelcoat color for the hull (just one color, not multiples) and maybe the checkered flag decals on the side? If so, then it's a Z250 Limited Edition . The Z package is the best Mariah offered!

Thank you for your quick response. My boat is very unusual. It did indeed had the racing stripes at one time. It also has the defogger, windshield wipers, microwave, electric captain & mate seat which can be converted to a leaning post. What it does not have is the stainless steel exhaust vents, stainless steel indy gas cap (it's black plastic) and electricl anchor light. It has an out of this world sound system, but of course it is not from the factory. I will post photos soon.

Sorry about the thumbs down. I must have still half asleep when I wrote it at 4:30am. I really love my boat. Furthermore, it is the best boat for the buck, period.

Yep, you've definitely got a Z250 Limited Edition if it has all those options! '99 was the first year for the Z250, perhaps you got one of the earlier made models, before they added the stainless vents, indy style fuel fill, and power anchor light. The beauty of this is that all of these are easy things to upgrade to, if it's something you wanted to do in the future.
