Talking Goodbye 220 Talari :( -- HELLO Z302!!!!!!! : )

The title pretty much says it all.

We sold our 96' Talari 220 just about a month ago.

I knew I had underestimated my wife's passion for being on the water when on the way home from meeting the purchaser to deliver the boat--she turned to me and said:"You know the saying--the two happiest days of a boaters life are the day you buy it and the the day you sell it? WELL THAT'S A LIE!!! YOU SOLD MY BOAT!!!!" (the fact that the new owner had just passed us towing the Talari -- honking and waving to us did not help a bit by the way!!)

Having been married to this wonderful woman for 25 years as of this past Tuesday my grasp of the obvious has become quite acute!! I knew at that exact moment my quest for our next Mariah had begun in earnest.
Consequently--a week ago today we became the proud new owners of a 2000 model z302 w/ 502 MAG and Bravo 3 and most of "bells and and whistles"(250 hours). We covered 50 miles with the new girl (and I mean the new boat not a new girl) on beautiful Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas on Monday (Labor Day w/25mph winds with whitecaps most of the trip!!) and she performed flawlessly!!!
Proud to report we celebrated a very Happy 25th Anniversary on Tuesday the 6th!!!!
Will post some gallery pix soon!!!

    Very nice. Congrats!
Is 50 miles on Beaver pretty much end to end and back?

The 50 mile round trip is about half way the length of the lake.
We use the Marina that is is the farthest from the dam, and it is approximately 50 miles to the dam from there.
Beaver Lake is a bit over 28,000 acres with 487 miles of shoreline.
It is the first lake of the chain of lakes on the White River.
Beaver empties into Table Rock Which in turn empties into Bull Shoals.
