I am new to boating and just bought a 19' mariah talari 180 bowrider with a 4.3 mercruiser I/O 190hp. The uphoulsrtry and interior seems to be in excellent condition b/c it was garage kept since 94. I want to keep it looking that way but it will be on a lake dock from may -oct. The boat did not come with a cover and will be buying custom. I know nothing about boats and I just bought one. Please give me some good advice on regular maintence and how to buy a custom boat cover so I don't get ripped off.

Welcome aboard I find alot of internet searching will usually net you a decent deal I tend to stick to bigger outlets as it seems safer for online shopping. Different shops have better prices on somethings then others also ebay can be good too. Keep the vinyl well c. oated in protecttants seems to help alot and keep it clean dirt will speed break down of both paint and interior. Keep her waxed up to slow oxidation aswell and enjoy
