The 4.3 will do the job. It would be better with a 5.0L but the 4.3 will handle it and be a little easier on fuel. Being correctly propped will help things also. If wakeboarding/tubing is your primary use then i would suggest a 19" - 3 blade SS prop or a 20" - 4 blade SS prop.
