Default New to site

Found this great site researching info for adding a swim platform and trim tabs to my 99 Z302. Have had this great boat for 2 years after looking for10. Surprised to see Swimplatforms.com so prominently featured on the site. Will plan to share detail and results of these and other projects on my boat.

I am looking for details of factory or owner installed trim tabs on larger Mariah's. A picture would be perfect. I am planning to install Bennett ST-16 tabs at the same time as the swim platform to assure a successful layout of brackets on the transom.

Am also looking into an issue of apparent overheating on the tops of the Captains Choice exhaust tubes inside the boat over the back of the engine.

Any info would be helpful.

    I like this site too!

If either one of you have questions about installing Bennett ST-16s I will be delighted to help! We can make the actuators (rams) an inch shorter if need be to fit under a swim platform. It's easy and I can have the parts sent to you at no cost.

I check this site daily so I will be standing by if you need any help.

We have a SwimPlatforms.com swim platform on our 252 Shabah and it has been a great addition to the boat! We've been very happy with the construction and it's certainly a very sturdy product. We often have a few big guys hanging out on the back of the boat and we haven't had any problems so far. Best part about the swim platform is that it gave us room to mount a BBQ on the back so when we're hanging out up the lake we can grill up whatever your heart desires

Tom, welcome to the club and thank you for the compliment! Glad to have the support of a vendor, especially Bennett Marine

Your trim tabs are extremely popular around here and i've heard nothing but compliments about them. I'm going to work to get you a badge for your profile that says "Bennett Marine" so that our members can more easily recognize you, if you don't mind. We certainly appreciate the knowledge you bring with you and please let me know if there's anything you think we can do to help spread the word about Bennett Marine or make your time better spent around here.
