Default First time power boat owner!

We took delivery of a 2009 SX19 with 5.0 Mercruiser last month! The wife and I and our three sons have enjoyed about 8 hrs. of cruising so far...
Our only issue to date is that she is hard to get started and does not like to idle - I'm suspecting some type of fuel delivery problem. Any and all guidance would be welcome. I am very impressed with the quality and scope of this site and will be checking it regularly - Thanks!

    Hey, welcome to the club!

At one month old, you should take it back to the dealer you purchased from. The problems you list (hard starting and won't idle) shouldn't be happening on a brand new engine...

Welcome to the board Brian SX19!

I agree with Z 202, that shouldn't be happening on a brand new engine. Take the boat back to the dealer/service facility and have it checked out. If there's something significantly wrong, contact Sea Fox Mariah and talk to them directly.
